Exercice d'application
Énoncé : A friend is tired before an exam. Write three pieces of advice using should/shouldn't, and one rule using must.
Étapes à suivre :- For advice, use should (+ base verb) and shouldn't for what to avoid.
- For a firm rule, use must.
- Check: no « to » after the modal, same form for all persons (no -s at he/she).
Example answer: You should go to bed early. You should eat a good breakfast. You shouldn't drink coffee at night. You must arrive on time for the exam. Note that the modal never changes form (he/she must, not « musts ») and the verb after it stays in the base form.
