Exercice d'application
Énoncé : Write about last weekend in 4 sentences: two things you did (one regular, one irregular verb), one thing you didn't do, and one question to a friend.
Étapes à suivre :- Use -ed for a regular verb, the irregular form for the other.
- Use didn't + base verb for the negative.
- Use Did + subject + base verb for the question.
Example: Last weekend, I played football and I went to the cinema. I didn't do my homework. Did you have a nice weekend? The regular « played » takes -ed, « went » is irregular, « didn't do » uses the base form after didn't, and the question uses « Did … have ». The time marker « last weekend » confirms the simple past.
